Cheat: Level Select Menu

Edit the hitman2.ini and change "DefaultScene=AllLevels/logos.gms" to "DefaultScene=AllLevels/levelmenu.gms”

Note: When editing game files, always make a backup.

Cheat: Two Different Handguns at Once

Make sure that you are carrying these items: a rifle, the ballers, 2 pistols.

Drop the ballers on the floor
Pick up the rifle that just fell down (because you dropped the ballers)
Take a pistol in your hand (this pistol will go to your left hand, it cant be reloaded so I suggest you choose the 9mm Beretta)
Pick up the ballers
Take the other pistol that you are carrying in your hand.(this pistol will go to your right hand, and it doesn't need to be reloaded anymore, so I suggest you use the Dessert Eagle for this.

Note: that the pistol in your left hand will run out of ammo and you can't reload it anymore, but the pistol in your right hand doesn't need to be reloaded at all.

Open your Hitman2.ini in the Hitman2 directory in a text editor and add EnableCheats 1 without quotations right below EnableConsole.

You can activate the following cheats by typing them in the game while playing.

Following the success of Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, Pyro Studios and Eidos Interactive created a smaller--and far more challenging--version of the same game with a few tweaks and improvements. Though Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty appears on the surface to be an expansion pack, it doesn't require its predecessor to function; Commandos: BCD is a stand-alone product.

Commandos: BCD's gameplay follows the same style as its predecessor. Though classified as a real-time strategy game, Commandos: BCD foregoes the use of resource collectors, buildings, and unit creation--elements seen in games like Command and Conquer and StarCraft. Instead, players assume control of one to six distinctive commandos, such as the marksman Duke and the explosives expert Inferno, and use them collectively to solve puzzle-like combat and stealth situations.

Completing the game's eight World War II-based missions requires specialized use of each of the six commandos as well as making the most out of limited ammunition against typically overwhelming odds. Though the units, both friendly and enemy, are rather small, they're easily distinguishable against the lush, detailed environments. The interface, mostly unchanged from the first game, remains intuitive. Hint: Raise And Lower Levels

To raise your scenery just press the SHIFT key and you should be able to drag your scenery up or down.

Hint: Money Making Technique

Raise the prices of all the rides in your park to their excitement rating. For example if the excitement rating is 8.27 you should charge them $8.30. (Round up) Guests will never think you ride is too expensive. NOTE: This trick wont work for certain rides such as cinemas or dodgems so you should either demolish them or lower the cost 10-50 cents. Make sure that all your rides have been re-priced this way or guests will only go on that ride.

Hint: Keep People In The Park

If you put a sign saying no entry, on the other side of the entry no people can get out but people can enter the park.

Sacrifice is one of those rare games that comes along far too infrequently. It isn't derivative, it isn't clichéd, and it isn't poorly thought out or tired in any way. In fact, in almost every conceivable way it's unique, powerful, fully realized, and features deep, absorbing gameplay.

The story is where this game really shines. You portray an alien wizard who escapes his ruined dimension to a new, even weirder one. Five gods rule this new world. Noble Persephone is the goddess of life, simple James controls the Earth, bombastic Pyro controls fire, wicked Charnel rules destruction and death, and the haughty Stratos (voiced by Tim Curry) is master of air. They bicker and fight throughout. It's your choice whom to serve before each mission. In addition, each mission you complete bestows upon you some of their unique powers and monsters. Because the campaign is dependent upon which god you serve and when, you'll end up with vastly different power combinations each time you play.

The game plays like Activision's Battlezone remake from a while back. It's played like an action game--you can see from behind the shoulder of your wizard character--yet it has Command & Conquer-style real-time strategy components. You have to harvest souls from fallen enemies and troops, summon and control your own army of fascinating monsters, and control the magical resources known as Mana Fountains. The game is daunting and the action may be too frantic for some, but all its components are detailed in an impressive tutorial and tips are scattered throughout the game.

Add instant action play, a host of maps, a complete game editor (ensuring fan- created levels will flood the Internet soon), and a stable multiplayer component, and you'll find unlimited value in the game. Sacrifice is more than just a quirky new PC game, it's a bona fide classic. --Bob Andrews

Midtown Madness 2 is the exact opposite of the typical racing game. Instead it's the simple racer for which PC speed freaks have been praying. It looks and plays better than most console racers, and while it is definitely an arcade racer and not a full-on driving simulation, that doesn't mean you can play it with your brain in park. The only people who might have a gripe with Midtown 2 are those who played the original to death, as the sequel is only slightly improved from the original. As in the original game, Midtown 2 features wild racing through busy city streets complete with multicar pileups and citizens diving for cover.

This time the action takes place in the streets of San Francisco and London. As expected, San Francisco sports its many landmarks and famous rolling hills, which offer plenty of chances to build up speed for ludicrous stunts. Keep an eye open for the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts. London's tight turns and twisting streets put the emphasis on driver skill rather than flat-out speed. Landmarks include Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and Trafalgar Square. Of course, the secret to success in the Midtown games is to find unconventional shortcuts that can bring about a quick victory.

For the most part players will be racing in standard circuit and checkpoint races. Interestingly, you must unlock most of the 20 cars in the game by finishing a series of races or completing the two in-game driving schools. You can't drive our favorite car--the Aston Martin DB7--until you finish British cabby school, but once you do get it, you'll be a terror on the highways. We only wish more automobiles were available right from the start, as the performance of the cars varies as wildly as their makes and models.

While the cities are interesting to look at and many of the structures contain shortcuts and other secret passages, the overall look of the game is more cartoony than realistic. Getting the opposition out faster

Try to bring the medium fast or medium bowler on. Then, place the bowling marker just short of the good length spot or even further down towards the bowler. Try inswing the ball or outswing but drop the speed to almost nothing. Keep the speed to two or three lines (yellow meter). The batsman will play a backfoot defensive shot and eventually get bowled or LBW. Another way of getting the batsman out quickly is bring the medium fast or fast bowler and try bowling inswing bouncer and place a fileder at deep thirdman for a catch. This trick only works when the batsman is new to the crease or tailenders.

Bring in a fast bowler (for example, McGrath) and aim a normal delivery behind either the middle or the off stump. Put the bar up to almost full power and let it rip. Most batters will swing and miss or be caught LBW.

Keeping the scoreboard moving or hitting some runs

Always bring the left handed batsman first and aim for the leg side boundary for a six hit shot; he will succeed a lot of the time. In test matches, do not rush for runs or you will get out very quickly. Place your innings and play the ball in the gaps.

In many ways, creating a sequel to Half-Life is an unenviable task. After all, the goal is to craft not just any ordinary game, but an improvement to a title that is widely considered to be the high water mark for first person shooters. Fortunately, Valve does not disappoint on their sophomore effort.

Half-Life 2 picks up exactly where its predecessor leaves off, with gamers stepping once more into Gordon Freeman's HVAC suit as he awakes at some indeterminate time in the future, now apparently in the employ of the mysterious G-Man. Humanity has been sold out to alien forces, and your job is to escape their thrall and lead the resistance to victory.

HL2's key successes are in a few critical areas, the first of which is the new physics & graphics engine, called Source. People and objects fall, fly, tip over, float, and break in an extraordinarily realistic fashion, and in-game puzzles often require you to use simple applications of physics to progress. Second, an elaborate facial structure system coupled with excellent voice acting make for some of the most believably human NPCs in gaming history. This is no small thing; you will find yourself actually caring about the characters who surround you, even those that are normally regarded as cannon fodder. Third, the level design exhibits a subtle brilliance, which frequently fools you into feeling like you're making your way through an organic environment and not a forced linear path. These elements combine to form one of the most truly immersive experiences ever captured on a PC.

This gaming bliss comes at a cost, however. If your computer isn't running the latest and greatest hardware, you may find yourself turning down a lot of the slick graphics to keep the machine from choking. Also, at the time of this writing the only two bundled multiplayer games are a barely updated version of Counter-Strike and HL2 DeathMatch. Counter-Strike: Source is every bit as fun as the original, but the DeathMatch is lackluster and contains only a handful of uninspired maps.

Serious Sam returns to the roots of first-person shooters, serving up big guns, hordes of enemies, and plenty of attitude. The entire game is steeped in an ancient Egyptian theme, with locations that range from claustrophobic temple passages to wide-open arenas, and with surprises lurking around every corner.

The monsters are uninspired, but Serious Sam substitutes quantity for quality. Enemies do little more than blindly rush at you, but when dozens are converging on your position at the same time things get hectic in a hurry. Fortunately there are plenty of health, armor, and ammunition packs to pick up along the way, so expect a sore trigger finger after fighting all the way through to the game's epic end battle.

The only real faults with this all-out action fest are that it ends all too soon, and the Egyptian theme--though beautifully wrought--gets old. Still, Serious Sam's bang-for-the-buck ratio is high enough to make most complaints moot, and players will be too busy trying to survive to get bored with the scenery. --T. Byrl Baker

Serious Sam places gamers in the role of special-forces veteran Sam "Serious" Stone. You can change the "100" to "99999.000", etc. Make sure you do this for all the crates; sometimes a map will give you a large crate of something, and smaller ones of something else, etc. This works best because every map you play in Campaign mode or Skirmish mode starts you with some "crates" of resources, which your settlers will gather out. This will edit the crates to have large amounts of resources in them. However, it still takes a long time to get the resources out of the crate for the settlers, because there are so many. If you are impatient, search for "Settler" in the "proto.xml" file and find the tag for GatherCrate. Change the value to whatever desired, preferably something very high (for example, "99999"). They will pull the resources out of the crate instantly.

Easy experience points

To get easy experience for your home town, start a Skirmish, choose the Sandbox difficulty setting, and the smallest map. Win the game the fastest way possible. You will receive the usual amount of experience, but can do this as many times as desired. If desired, use the cheats to win the game quicker and easier.

Revealing the entire map

Save your game and resign. The map will be shown to you as if you had lost. Then, just load the game and keep playing. Note: The map will be shown only between clicking to resign and choosing to quit. It will not continue like this when you start the loaded game.

World of Warcraft didn't invent the online role-playing genre, but it certainly benefits from the missteps of other titles that have come before. A mind-boggling array of improvements in graphics, gameplay, networking, and interface--really every category--makes this game the crown prince of the genre, a great starting place for newbies, and a challenge to any other MMORPG currently in the works.

A History of Conflict
WoW takes place just four years after the real-time strategy Warcraft series, which chronicles a 25 year struggle between the Alliance (humans, dwarves, gnomes, and elves) and the Horde (orcs, tauren, trolls, and undead). Even though there's tons of accumulated story to the series, new players should not be daunted. The background is there for you to explore, but you don't have to tread a lot of Azeroth history to get into the action.
The makers boast 2,000 existing quests with more being added, many of them noncombat in nature.

The game looks magnificent. There's plenty of detail and variety to the landscapes and interiors, and the artwork has a refreshingly playful style. There's not a lot of variety in the character creation process, but with all the skills and proficiencies to combine in the game, WoW focuses its customization not on the appearance of your character but rather on the character of your character. The game lets you adopt any two trade skills, regardless of character race or class, and combine those skills in useful ways. If you choose skinning and leatherworking, for example, you can fashion bags from the carcasses of monsters you defeat, which will allow you to carry even more inventory items.

Expanded Commerce
You can sell the items you make, find, and loot through a variety of outlets. Like any role-playing game, WoW has merchants who will buy your cast-off items for fixed prices, but you can also sell to other players at your own price through in-game chat or by leaving it with one of the auction houses located across the map. This virtual free market is a game within the game, like Monopoly somehow inserted into the middle of Chess. Heck, you can even send items C.O.D. to other players via the game's mail system.

In other online role-playing games, starting players have to invest dozens of hours whacking at small prey and doing other odd jobs one at a time to gradually "level up" to more interesting challenges. WoW lets players accept a variety of quests--up to 20 at a time without penalty for abandoning any of them before they're complete. The makers boast 2,000 existing quests with more being added, many of them noncombat in nature. Where some games only grant experience through battle, WoW grants experience for exploring and fulfilling quests too.

A Level Playing Field
There's also a built-in handicap for casual players where your character enters a rest state when you log off from the game. The longer you're logged off (up to a week), the bigger the experience bonus you'll get when you return to battle. An enemy tagging feature--the player who lands the first attack on an enemy claims the loot for himself or his party--prevents onlookers from swooping in and pilfering items from a monster that you brought down. That resolves a common complaint of other titles.

Most games severely penalize players when they die in-game, usually by shaving experience points, funds, or both. In WoW, death just relocates your ghost to the nearest graveyard, and the only penalty is the time it takes you to get back to resurrect your character's corpse.

All of this makes for a very complicated game, but the well-designed interface puts all the game's elements into icons either visible framing the action or within a simple keystroke. The enemy's artificial intelligence is quite strong too: Monsters will join nearby fights to aid their comrades, switch targets strategically midbattle, and ambush players. The map system fills in details on places you've visited, so you always know where you are and where you've been.

Overall, World of Warcraft is a game that's easy to learn, challenging to master, beautiful to watch, and tons of fun to play.

Max Payne, the New York police detective, has had a bad time of it recently, and it’s time for payback. Three years ago, junkies high on a mysterious new narcotic called Valkyr slaughtered his wife and child. The tragedy drives him on a prolonged path of vengeance. It turns him from a detective looking for easy work to a deep undercover vice cop infiltrating the Mob to a hardened vigilante. Max Payne is a film-noir-inspired game about revenge that is unflinching in every way possible. It’s dark and moody, extremely twisted, and turns PC action gaming on its ear by featuring state-of-the-art graphics, audio, and cinematic action.

Aside from its inspired use of photorealistic graphics and unique graphic novel (comic book) panels to further the plot, the game also features something called Bullet Time: a slow-motion toggle, usable for a limited time, that re-creates the awe-inspiring diving maneuvers made popular by director John Woo and, of course, The Matrix. At the touch of a button, Max can go into slow motion and leap forwards or back, and side to side, while pumping generous amounts of lead into his enemy’s bodies. This toggle isn’t just eye candy, it’s a strategic device that evens the sometimes staggering odds the game throws at you. The action is made even more visceral by the interactive environments (glass shatters, plaster puffs into dust, and wood splinters) and generous amounts of blood.

The game carries a Mature label, and this should be taken very seriously. The game doesn’t pull a single punch, whether in flashbacks showing Max’s reaction to his gunned-down spouse, or even, somewhat tastelessly, flashbacks that include his slain infant daughter. And he mows down a virtual army of hackneyed Joe Pesci-style Italian mobsters or ski-mask-wearing terrorists with extreme prejudice. The plot is predictable, the script is humorously bad (intentionally so?), but the action will definitely make a shooter fan drool. Max Payne is the Ã¼bershooter, and as such, it should be kept out of the hands of kids. But mature action fans will love it.

Although Doom 3 is not perfect, the 3D graphics engine upon which it is built sets a new, jaw-dropping standard that makes this game a must-have. In addition to adding multi-player action via xBox live, or via networked consoles, the Xbox version of Doom 3 also adds a great two-player cooperative mode.

Hell on Mars
Your character is a low ranking Marine on a routine rotation to the United Aerospace Corporation's (UAC) Mars Research Facility. That's pretty much all the back-story you need. Doom 3 is a bit skimpy in the story-line department, but rich plotting and character development have never been the focus of the Doom franchise. Action is the name of the game here, and we found plenty. After a few minutes of wandering through the facility, listening to rumors about impending catastrophe from the staff (remember Half-Life?) it was time to start shooting. We fought our way through dark, lavishly detailed environments until finally doing battle with pure evil in the depths of hell. Although the game offers no opportunities to explore the Martian setting apart from the linear corridors of the research facility, good level design and well crafted sound effects were successful at scaring the living heck out of us all the way through.

Creature Discomforts
Groaning zombies and the sudden leaping attack of an eleven-eyed Imp are just the beginning of the horror and anxiety in Doom 3. Floating Cacodemons attack from above with a mouthful of teeth, ethereal Revenant fire flesh-seeking missiles with deadly accuracy, a swarm of spider-like Trites skitter down the corridor, hungry for blood. Although the enemy AI in Doom 3 is less crafty than we would have liked, the incredible variety of enemies--each with a unique style of attack--outweighs this shortcoming somewhat.

Guns, Guns, Guns
While there are many powerful weapons in the game, they are designed to force players to anticipate and plan for firefights. For instance, we liked wielding the chaingun to shred enemies at longer ranges, but the weapon devours ammo and using it on close-range targets was a waste of bullets. We quickly learned to switch to the shotgun or the chainsaw to dispatch foes at close range.

One piece of hardware, the flashlight, was a point of both salvation and frustration for us. Doom 3 is a dark game and many enemies know how to take advantage of it. You'll find yourself switching back and forth between your weapons and your flashlight often just to see what's lurking ahead. This problem might be easily solved by duct taping the flashlight to your equipped weapon, but, alas, we found no duct tape on Mars.

Multiplayer
While Doom 3 is no Halo 2 when it comes to multi-player action, there are some respectable multi-player arenas and modes including death match, team death match, last man standing and tournament. Five maps serve to keep things interesting, and you'll want to look for special tricks in some arenas to give you a leg up on enemies. Cooperative multi-player proved to be a hoot as we teamed up with friends to try to make our way through the levels. The intensity of gameplay ramps up significantly in the cooperative mode, as the levels are designed to be harder. They're also designed to force players to work together, so you'll want to communicate with your partner as much as possible.

Looking Good
Doom 3 is incredible looking. Every room is exquisitely detailed, from the shimmer of the air near a heat source to the texture of a hamburger sitting on the counter of the company mess hall. Id obviously went all out designing every creature in the game and their realism makes them all the more horrifying. Get ready to jump out of your couch cushions!

The theme of the sequel is germ warfare, as Mullins travels the globe attempting to track down a well-funded para-military organization known as Prometheus before they unleash a deadly bio-weapon.
As opposed to the original Soldier of Fortune, the story plays a much more prominent role in the game, with many lengthy cutscenes as well as several levels dedicated entirely to walking around talking to characters.
The series' main gimmick, its graphic depiction of human bodily dismemberment, makes another appearance in Soldier of Fortune II.
GHOUL 2.0, as the new engine is called, features even more "gore zones" (a total of 36) allowing for increasingly detailed depictions of gore and carnage.
A shot to the head can now blow away a chunk of scalp and expose the dripping brain beneath, and blown-off limbs will reveal jutting bones and spurting blood.
At the same time, the gore is a bit less "arcadish" than in the original game; more firepower is required to blow off an extremity or leave gaping wounds.
Designed as a tactical shooter, the player character is more vulnerable to enemy fire, and while he can still survive more than a dozen bullets thanks to his body armor, a single explosion can kill him instantly.
Additionally, weapon recoil makes automatic firearms become increasingly inaccurate as they are fired, so if the player runs around firing continuously he or she will have difficulty hitting enemies.
Running into the middle of a firefight will usually get the player killed, and gameplay requires a lot of ducking behind cover and leaning around corners to take shots.

Is it better to take the base head-on or skulk around the perimeter first and thin down your opposition? This is the kind of open-ended superspy gameplay Project IGI offers.

There's no denying the game is beautiful. Project IGI is based on a flight simulator engine, so the outdoor environments let you see for miles. It's a stunning feeling to run to the edge of a cliff and see an enormous enemy military installation sprawled out in the valley below. Buildings, weapons, and vehicles are all rendered realistically, and there isn't a game in recent memory that contains such convincing base layouts. All of the places you are expected to infiltrate are dotted with watchtowers, warehouses, barracks, and security checkpoints. Best of all, the expansive outdoor environments seamlessly transition into indoor and underground installations that are just as detailed.

Unfortunately, idiotic enemies that rely on their instantaneous reactions, unerring aim, and large numbers to bring you down spoil the atmosphere. They operate on strict paths that are easy to determine, and simply stand in one spot and shoot until either they die or you do. Fights can be frustrating, made worse by the lack of an in-game save system. It's too bad, because with a few changes Project IGI would have risen from mildly entertaining to absolutely brilliant.
